At Cloud Nine Events & Accessories, we do what we can to give back to our community. We believe it’s important to give back when you can and live by the “pay it forward” belief. We are a big supporter of our military troops for their sacrifices they give to help our country and others. We are currently creating care packages to send to troops over seas. Most of these will be going to troops all over the world. Many soldiers do not receive any correspondences even during the lonely holiday times. If you would like to contribute, we ask that you give what you can for the packages even if it’s just a simple note/card to tell them thank you, showing your support and letting them know they are in our thoughts and gratitude. We have done extensive research using the Any Soldier website where we request the troop’s military addresses. These packages will be sent to all branches of the US Military.
Below you will find a detailed list of some of items the soldiers around the world are currently requesting. If there is an item that is not listed, please donate it as long as it is not restricted which you may find at the end of the list. If you are providing anything that requires electricity, soldiers who have access usually have 110v of electricity. Please keep this in mind.
We will be collecting items continually during the year, however for the holidays, we request all items to be collected no later than December 1st for immediate shipment. Contact us for any questions or to schedule a collection time. Be sure to follow our Facebook page, as we will update you with open public collection times and locations. Please note that we are not a non-profit organization and donations are not tax deductible. We are doing this out of the goodness of our hearts, not to fill our pocket book. Thank you for your support!
You can contact our owner, Jackie Healy by email at: cloudnineweddingsportland@gmail.com or by phone at 360-521-5984 (please leave a message and she will get back to you soon)
